  • "Lynn, I'm writing to you to tell you what a great service experience I had at your store, thanks in particular to Rebecca. In short, Rebecca went that extra mile to find a way to deliver an excellent result. I had brought my '86 Kawasaki Vulcan in for routine maintenance. Your folks were thorough and determined I needed new tires and also checked to see if there were any manufacturer recalls that apply. In fact, there was. The up-graded Kawasaki driver-pegs on the bike apparently had a defect that required they be removed and replaced - which the service department did. However, they replaced them with stock/standard pegs - significantly less aesthetically in keeping with all the other upgrades to the bike, and nowhere near the same value. Needless to say, I was unhappy about this and spoke to Rebecca to see if there was some recourse with Kawasaki. Rebecca researched the recall more thoroughly, contacting Kawasaki directly. She was able to determine that, in fact, the recall did allow for compensation beyond replacement with the standard pegs. She then worked with me to select new, aftermarket pegs more in keeping with the aesthetics of the bike, and installed them, without further charge. She even helped make it easy to return to the store to drop my bike off for the work, by arranging a ride back to my home with one of your employees. All throughout the experience, Rebecca remained calm, professional, and focused on trying to do the right thing, and everything she could, to ensure a satisfied customer. She fully succeeded in doing so! Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend Power Sports East to anyone who is looking to have their bikes serviced - and to tell them they can count on a thorough, quality, and customer-focused experience and result.   • "You sold my first-year Yamaha Raptor 660R in less than three weeks??? That's terrific news Marc Korenberg!

    You did a fantastic job and it was a pleasure working with you and your team of professional service members, in particular Karl Zehner your senior service advisor. My bike which had not been ridden for more than four years and was stored at my brother's house in Kennett Square PA was received by your service member Karl with open arms on a Friday morning with no prior scheduling. He explained the service process professionally and with care, given my concerns about the cost of getting the bike operating to sell it during these hard economic times in our country. I was shocked that for the first time in my 25 plus years of riding, a service team had not tried to up-sell me or charge me for parts that were not needed to get a bike running again. Karl simply called and said, "you had a bad fuel line and we cleaned out the carbs, the bike started right up and we did not need to replace any parts for you, your battery was still good as well. If you still want to sell it I can explain how that would work and we can get one of our salespeople in touch with you on Tuesday".I received a call from Marc on Tuesday as promised and he explained the consignment process very clearly and made sure I was okay with the price they had valued the bike at. We did all this over the phone and by fax and mail which he handled for me the same day. You made the process very easy given my busy schedule and being that I am an out of state customer living in So. Florida. It would have been logistically difficult for me to have sold my bike in such a short amount of time and with such ease otherwise. I would be happy to write a testimonial for the terrific job you folks do, not only in service but in sales, and recommend your shop to any rider.

    If and when I am in the market for a new cycle or product I would choose Powersports East as my dealer of choice and ask for you to handle the transaction personally Marc. It would be my pleasure to travel from my home in Fort Lauderdale FL to work with professionals such your yourself and your senior service advisor Karl Zehner in the future.

  • "Greetings! Last week I took delivery of my new 2012 Yamaha FJR1300A, the bike is simply amazing. I wanted to specifically mention the Powersports staffers who made the entire purchasing process not only easy but a true celebration of this long-awaited bike of my dreams. Doug in Sales was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure I had all my questions answered, that I knew my way around the shop and the repair area and that everything with the bikes set-up and handover went smoothly. Pete in Finance made the whole down payment and financing operation smooth and easy. Brent behind the Parts counter helped me get the tour box and associated hardware ordered properly, along with the full riding kit for my wife Ashlyn. Everyone I met and spoke with at Powersports East, during the purchasing process, and at the late-night sales event, last Friday was friendly, helpful, and genuinely excited for me and enthusiastic about the 2012 FJR.
